A growing body of research in the area of addiction suggests that Internet Addiction Disorder is becoming a real problem, it is a psycho-physiological disorder involving tolerance; withdrawal symptoms; affective disturbances; and interruption of social relationships. The most common one is Facebook Addiction Disorder (FAD).
The reason why I keep myself not to get so attached with my facebook is to avoid being called as "Facebook Addict". It's an issue on my side. I have known some of my friends who are Facebook addicts...and I don't like be called like them.
But how are we going to identify or recognise if a person is a Facebook Addict or what? Is there any signs or indications? I'm just worried with the idea what if I already have the signs yet I didn't notice it myself.
Facebook Addict? That would be impossible to happen to me. I don't even bother open my Facobook account cause I found it very dry and useless. Maybe because I don't have many friends in FB.
