Pacing Myself.
Howard Gardner, in his book Creating Minds, looks to define the conditions that encourage the most creative people. One of the conditions that he has observed is that scientists tend to develop rapidly at a young age, whereas writers tend to require much more time.
He explains:
Poetry is a Young Man's art.
Fiction is the art of Middle Age.
Essays are for those in their twilight.
Blogging is mastered only by those who are way past their twilight.
So in fact, any remaining loyal readers, I am not puttering out. My blogging is way ahead of the curve by at least five years.

Maleah,
A relief for you sure. You can read at your liesure my impending Master-Works. But it is totally messing with my plans for an early retirement (I was shooting for 29.)
