Current Events.

As I have mentioned, I believe that COI is lagging behind in informing my audience about what is happening in the world. In fact, the New York Times may even be slightly more reliable. In order to rectify this situation I would like to do what any responsible journalist would do:Quote from another news source. Namely, CBS News.

CBS News is famous. And what do they do? They quote one of Concept of Irony's regulars. Sure, they don't quote concept of irony. But concept of irony quotes them. And they are quoting one of COI's readers. Which means, the Concept of Irony is clearly in the middle of the news. It is just a matter of time before COI is back on top. Soon COI will talk about what is news and than it will be the world's responsibility to execute said news.

"So what can you do if you're stuck with a bad boss, some bloggers ask. "Ignore them? Tweak them from time to time? Wait 'til they go too far and find a way to punish them?" BitingBlondeWit questions. And she offers the best cyber-savvy revenge: "Blog them ..."

Bless your heart! You are too funny. And COI is the only blog to which I link, and the first thing I read in the morning. After I've finished your posting, I go to the Times. Sure they're bright and very informative, but I find myself wondering, why aren't they as witty and erudite as Justin? Alas, reading you first simply ruins me for other media.

Aww thanks. Its really humbling to be reminded of how awesome I am by a Major Figure in Contemporary News.

I read COI, but not the NYT. I know the real deal when I see it.

Finding Fair Hope<---Insanely jealous of own reader (and reader of COI) bitingblondewit. Hey, maybe it's because I'm not blonde. That's it!

Justin, I swear, I have never read the NYT and I will never chose it over COI.

BBW -- congrats on your noteri-- erg ... celebrity status. In retrospect I found my comment and your answer quite (can I say it here?) ironic.

Quill D., I'm afraid I don't understand. I'm not my spunky best today though and am probably missing something that should be obvious?

goldennib: me too. J.

quilly: I don't think I've ever given an answer that is ironic, but maybe you could clarify what we are talking about here. J.

Oh dear, I thought you people could read minds! I guess you need all the facts.

The day that BBW's featured column came out I visited it BEFORE it was picked up by the news. After reading the column I said something about being able to tell a few bad-boss stories of my own. BBW responded that I needed to be careful because one never knew who might be reading ....

Then she ended up on the National News. It just struck me as a bit ironic.

Ironic and a little disturbing...there was a lot of traffic over there yesterday and it kinda frightened me. So many strangers!

BBw -- it should have happened to Jusin, then all would be well!

QuillD, if it had happened to Justin, his head might have swelled to such a size that he'd never again be able fit it through the doors of the loft. And that would be a tragedy. CBS did him a favor!

Hi,

I don't really have any pithy remarks to make about this post. I just feel that it's rude to be continually (or is it continuously?) visiting someone's personal blog without leaving a comment from time to time.

Justin said...

Thanks Sharon. Knowing there are regulars who don't comment allows my imagination to create an audience of millions. j.

Justin, I didn't think you cared about it, so I'll tell you: I translate your blog into Spanish and disseminate it unto the further reaches of South Pacoima and North Arleta. I'm not sure you are fully appreciate, due to your 'Korzinski maps' being dissimilar, but I think they get that at least there's water in your glass.
