Enough About Me, What Do Other People Think About Me?

(A Rare Picture of Solzhenitsyn with Comrade K. Used with permission from Commies with Credit Cards.)

When Solzhenitsyn was percieved to be in heaps of trouble, the literary community didn't sit idly by.

In response to these very real threats, 31 American Writers wrote a letter to the New York Times declaring his significance and the need for the world community to give the man a little respect.

It is in such a tradition that Comrade Kevin has released his statement about me-- for all the world to see.

While I am somewhat concerned that his blog is already talking about things other than me, I believe that he has ignited a revolution of people talking about me which is not likely to be stopped any time soon.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"One word of Truth outweighs the world--unless that words is Uranus."
--A.I. Solzhenitsyn

  1. I was thinking of starting a blog dedicated solely to you, but I don't think I'd do you justice.

  2. And I would come to your defense again Justin anytime you are threatened by the double edged sword of Aristotle and cheesecake.

I admit I am a bit surprised that more people did not recognize your cry for help!

  5. Comrade K, I guess it is almost cliche to worrhy about the double edged sword of Aristotle and Cheescake. But it sets my mind at ease to know that should I be threatened again, you will have another post, or something, ready. J.

  12. I would enjoy being your friend if I didn't have so many already screaming at me because they've had too much cheesecake.
