Enough About Me: How About Some Pictures of Me

Last night I was reading Margot's blog. She gave me a shout out in her latest post. We've had some good times. Like when she took these pictures of me and my brother (G3-IO542).

G3-IO542 is still on the right, if you got confused. He's the goofy one. My parents were kind of ashamed of him.

Growing Up I Often Had This Conversation
Dad: Oh you are going to act like your older brother?
Me: I don't have an older brother.
Dad: You don't anymore.

As it turns out I did have an older brother, and he actually escaped my parent's dastardly punishment. He's not real bright, but I still love him. Like a brother.

I keep meaning answer your question but all I can do is stare at the butterfly. Very hypnotizing. Getting very sleepy..

Hey azure 3000:
I've been thinking about having like a brother's day, where everyone with a brother gets together and does something. Maybe rent out an amusement park or something. I'll let you know i that happens although your brother sounds kind of important to be hanging out with my brother.

Thanks for reading my blog. Or at least saying it is hillarious.

Oh-oh! Purple ink alert! (I do not use red ink in my classroom. I use purple, pink, orange, green ... I want my students to fear ALL the colors, not just red.)

ME and my brother? Justin, shame on you. But given the nature of this blog, I suppose it's understandable.

Btw, I'm teasing you. I love it here. This place makes me smile. (Thought I'd better clarify that after yesterday's post and now today's -- don't want to be mobbed and beaten by your fans.)

See! This was the picture I was talking about. I saw it on Margot's blog.

You look adorable!

If I were sitting in on one of your classes, would probably have a total crush on you.

That "anonymous" sure is funny. Everyone knows your the narcissistic one.

Anyway. So do you want my fish or not? If not, can you ask Margot if she wants it? She has fish, doesn't she?
Love eternally,
SJS

Sorry. This post should include the sentence, "Me and My Bro." not, "Me and my brother."

Thanks for your ever watchful eye.

That is a nice thought. I guess I won't tell you how heavily doctored these photos are.

Do you have pictures of the fish. I'm still thinking.

SJS: Related Question. Could you provide the necessary paperwork to legally change stewart's name to Moby Dick? Or Maybe Fyodor? Or Maybe Tolstoi?

Heavily doctored? As in you don't look like that? At all? Even a teeny bit?

What book were you reading?

(I feel that is important in establishing parameters of asid cuteness)

Jenn said...

I mean "said" not "asid"...am getting dyslexic in old age or maybe my fingers tend to slip...

Actually, your use of 'me' here is corrct. 'Me' is an object pronoun and, in this sentence, is the object of the prepositional phrase 'of me and my brother.'

Once again, I out-nerd everyone!

jenn: The book is Infinite Jest. I like it. The series of pictures was called Infinite Chess.

The right pink is me, the rest of it is generated using a sophisticated program.

P.S. could a comma go before "and my brother"

It looks like a really small narwal -- without the horn and with gills and orange scales instead of lungs and gray skin. And its tail goes back and forth instead of up and down. And he's a little dispondent too.

I think you should get a Babel Fish. Or green fish, blue fish, yellow fish, red fish.

Charlene Amsden said...

PT Budda, it was not the "me" I was contesting. The "me" is indeed correct. It is the word order that is incorrect -- for anyone except Justin -- the sentence should read "my brother and me." (If you don't get why Justin is excepted from this rule you lose any and all claim to future nerd status.)

Anonymous said...

quilldancer, I thought that you were contesting based on the fact that it should be me and me, since the pictures show two sides of Justin's personality.

bitingblondewit said...

To be completely technical, I'm pretty sure it should be "my brother and me."
Were you and your brother integrated ala Identity? If so, Canadian doctors rock!

Justin said...

Can we please stop fighting about grammar?

In a democratic society each one of you and me is free to speak with the way we see fit.

I read that last comment wrong and thought it said 'in a demographic society...'. I thought for a second - how fabulous. Then I realized all societies must surely be demographic, eh?

Skvid said...

I was going to make a relevant comment but I've forgotten it.

I got distracted by the butterfly, the narwal and the AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!

Is this the first time you've posted pictures of yourself, Justin?

I can see why you may have been reluctant before.

Oh, relax, people. I'm kidding.
